Freeway Horse Floats are regularly involved with miniature horses and have discovered several disadvantages while using standard horse floats to transport these little fellows.
The standard horse float is designed to carry two horses around 600 kgs each and we have found that the suspension rides too hard for the minis. They have unnecessary height and weight to be towed. |

Therefore, the design of the Freeway Mini Trailer was born to give: |
- A smooth, soft ride.
- Well divided out.
- Sealed unit fully lockable.
- Hydraulic braking system.
- Single axle.
- Light weight – ideal for a small car 1200 cc, plus easily handled by one person complete with a jockey wheel for manoeuverability.
- All Freeway Mini Trailers are custom built to our client’s requirements therefore we can design and build any specialised trailer to your personal requirements.
- Depending on length, these units will carry 4 to 6 minis.
- The chassis are hot dipped and the upper framework is of pre-galvanised material, sheeted with colour steel and finished with a tinted front window and a solid fibreglass roof.

- We manufacture to order, therefore double axle can be built to suit, these are more suitable for the longer lengths
